This is a very cool 1950’s TV lamp! Of course it doesn’t have to be used as TV lamp, it’s a free world so you can do whatever you want with it. TV lamps were made during the mid century to sit on top of big console TV’s.
This one is wrought iron lattice design with three curbed legs (they move). On the inside is a nice shade of green fiberglass cylinder. It looks great when the light is on. As you can see there is a little bending at the top of the cylinder, (please see ALL photos).
Other than that it is in good vintage condition for a 70 year old lamp! Oh yea the plug, don’t forget to look at the photos of the plug. I have had and used this lamp in my shop for over a year and Ive never had a problem, however I do not ever leave it on when Im not there. I wouldn’t leave it on at night or when you aren’t home without getting a new plug on it.
* I also have a black and gold metal lattice vanity bench in my shop! I like the way these two pieces look together.
Thank you so much for looking and have a very blessed day!
