This is a very neat advertisement from a New York newspaper (1870’s) introducing P.T. Barnum’s Great Roman Hippodrome. “The largest building ever constructed, occupying the entire block bounded by 4th and Madison Avenues and 26th and 27th Streets, New York” issue of Seventeen magazine from November 1973. The paper has browned with age and it’s been mounted onto a block of wood, for hanging.
Thank you so much for looking and have a very blessed day!
